Today marks the official beginning of the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Summit 2023. Innovation and advances in artificial intelligence (AI) will be the main topics of the summit. From December 12–14, Bharat Mandapam will host it.

Today at 5:00 PM, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially open the conference. The EU, together with more than 28 other GPAI members, will be present at the meeting. PM Modi will give an introductory statement to begin the conference. 

PM Modi invited people to the summit and underlined that artificial intelligence (AI) is a quickly developing field with a wide range of applications in a post on LinkedIn. He declared, "A new generation of bright minds is now in control of this revolutionary technology, and they are rapidly enhancing its enormous potential."

He also emphasised India's development over the previous ten years, blaming it on the country's rapid adoption of mobile devices, internet access, and expandable models for digital inclusion. He informed them that AI is being used by India to provide language-based services to its inhabitants, simplify and personalise education, improve access to healthcare, and advance agricultural knowledge.

The GPAI Summit 2023 will include a number of fascinating sessions, such as the AI Expo, where 150 StartUps will present their capabilities. According to PM Modi, the summit is evidence of India's dedication to utilising technology, especially AI, for the betterment of humanity and ensuring that countries in the Global South are not the last to benefit from it.
