MIT-WPU Faculty of Engineering and Technology announces M.Tech Admissions for 2023-2024

May 24th, 2023, National: MIT-WPU Faculty of Engineering and Technology, a pioneer institution of higher studies, has announced admissions for the M.Tech programmes for the academic year 2023-2024. The institution has been shaping competent and industry-ready professionals for over four decades, and the M.Tech programme continues this tradition by offering industry-oriented specializations like Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, M.Tech by Research in e-Mobility, M.Tech by Research in Environment Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, and Chemical Engineering.

MIT-WPU Faculty of Engineering and Technology offers industry-relevant programmes, taught by eminent academicians, with a curriculum designed by industry experts. The university boasts 130+ world-class laboratories, centers of excellence, international tie-ups and industry collaborations, and numerous co-curricular activities and fests throughout the year. The university emphasises on research and innovation and the FoET has received more than 7 crore research grants.  The institution offers stipends as per GATE score and AICTE norms, up to 100% scholarships worth Rs. 40 crores, 100% assistance in placement and internships, guidance to participate in renowned national and international events and competitions, and rural, national, and international immersion programmes. The highest package received by any student at MIT-WPU is 44.14 Lakhs CTC* (including sign-on bonus and ESOPs).

To be eligible for the M.Tech programme, candidates must have a minimum 50% aggregate score in graduation (4 years) of the relevant engineering branch from a UGC approved University or equivalent (at least 45% marks, in case of backward class category candidate belonging to Maharashtra state only). Additionally, candidates must have a positive score in GATE 2021, 2022, 2023, or MIT-WPU CET/PERA 2023. Sponsored candidates must have two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/company/industry/educational and/or research institute/any Department of the Government or a Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which the admission is sought.

The selection process for the M.Tech programme is based on the merit of MIT-WPU CET - 2023 score/ PERA score or GATE score (2021/2022/2023) & personal Interaction conducted by MIT-WPU. The programmes prepare future engineers who are equipped with the latest knowledge and practical skills to face the challenges of the industry and create successful careers ahead.
