According to a statement from Maruti Suzuki India, the company has revised its complete lineup of vehicles to be in compliance with the most recent Bharat Stage 6 Phase II emissions rules. Every Maruti Suzuki hatchback, sedan, MPV, SUV, and commercial vehicle is now E20 fuel compatible and complies with the new BS6 Phase-II Real Driving Emissions (RDE) rules.

The upgraded On-board Diagnostics (OBD) system, which is standard in the new Maruti Suzuki BS6 Phase II compliant vehicles, keeps track of the vehicle's emission control systems in real time and alerts the driver in the event of any problems. Additionally, Maruti Suzuki has included Electronic Stability Control (ESC) systems to every model of its vehicles, a cutting-edge safety feature that can recognise when a driver is losing control of a vehicle in unsafe circumstances.

C V Raman, Chief Technical Officer of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, "At Maruti Suzuki, we are always finding new and innovative ways to reduce emissions from our vehicles. The Government of India's drive to incorporate the new BS6 Phase II norms will go a long way in controlling emissions from vehicles over their entire lifespan. During this upgrade, Maruti Suzuki also took the opportunity to delight customers even more by equipping our cars with ESC, a leading safety feature globally. With this, Maruti Suzuki cars and SUVs are now safer than ever before and better for the environment, as well."

15 different models, including hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs, MUVs, and commercial vehicles, are available from Maruti Suzuki. The business has introduced the FRONX SUV, and it will shortly introduce the off-road Jimny SUV.
