The Swedish furniture and homeware company IKEA will be opening its flagship store in Bengaluru in June 2022. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai restated at the World Economic Forum Summit, Davos.

Nagasandra will be the location of the store. The official release stated that Brodin has invited Chief Minister Bommai to attend the inauguration. IKEA had indicated that the Bengaluru store will employ 800-1000 direct employees and additional 1,500 indirect employees to provide services like assembly and delivery.
