A Civil Engineer by profession possessing 35 years of experience in construction business, Vilas Birari outshines as the Managing Director on board of Harsh Constructions, Nashik. Hailing from a small town in Nashik, Vilas, the son of a primary school teacher plunged into taking up contracting work for a couple of companies. By harnessing the best of his connections with multiple corporates, he decided that his focus should be only on projects with national priorities. To achieve this, he inculcated a few disciplines for his own good and eased into his journey cautiously. His biggest breakthrough was when he delivered the project for Nashik Airport.
Vilas is well supported by his family members entailing Jayavant Birari, Alka Birari and Avishkar Birari in day-today business activities, who have immensely contributed to the growth of the business.
In addition, HCPL’s Management Team comprises of fully empowered Directors including Nilesh Yeole, Anil Birari, Vikas Patil and CFO – Ranjan Mohapatra, who are pillars of strength to Vilas in his journey to attain excellence.

HCPL has also delivered Airport Terminal Buildings at Nashik, Belgavi and Mangaluru.
Prospective Future
Presently, HCPL is all geared up to deliver two new terminal buildings of airports at Kolhapur and Shirdi. HCPL is also delivering its other signature projects like the Cancer Care Hospital in Chandrapur and 300-bedded Hospital in Kalaburagi. Avishkar asserts, “We take pride in having delivered a hospital with an air ambulance facility at Baramati, near Pune, which gives us an edge above our peers in the construction industry”. Moreover, the company is proud of its ongoing project of building the largest integrated judiciary of Southeast Asia at Indore which spans up to 12 lakh square feet of area and will have 18 escalators and 21 lifts. Construction of metros is another dimension that HCPL aims to explore in the next few years.
