Let me share an instance that happened in the months of October and November last year. We received an order from a unicorn company in the B2B space for 100 laptops worth 20 lakh rupees. We were excited to receive such a big order and immediately placed an order with our vendors. We even advanced the payment to ensure that we received the laptops on time. However, due to the unavailability of the materials, we couldn't get the laptops on time. When we approached the customer, we found out that the laptops were not available in the market. In such a situation, we immediately refunded the money to our customer, even though we did not receive the refund from our vendor.

Although we faced a loss due to the integrity issue from a vendor, we did not let it affect our client. We took this as an opportunity to learn from our failure and work on improving our procurement process. We analyzed the issue and realized that we needed to have a better system in place to ensure that our vendors were trustworthy and reliable.

We took the necessary steps to improve our procurement process, which included conducting background checks on our vendors, building a closer relationship with them, and having a backup plan in place in case of unforeseen circumstances. We also made sure to keep our clients informed about the steps we were taking to address the issue and prevent it from happening again. Despite the setback, we were able to bounce back and recorded our highest sales of over 80 lakhs in a single month."

The Ahmedabad based company has set ambitious goals to drive growth and expand client base, while also achieving a revenue target of at least eight crore in the first quarter. "We are also looking to penetrate and secure bigger clients, such as Reliance, to expand our portfolio and reach. We currently serve over 25 clients in this space and aim to increase our client base further by targeting midsize companies as well," they concluded.
